The Tallong Community Focus Group (TCFG) was incorporated in August 2005 to promote, advocate and foster the interests of the Tallong community.
Our Objective
To develop and implement strategies in order to facilitate a community in Tallong that enjoys a quiet rural lifestyle with a strong agriculture,environment, heritage and natural aspect.
Activities
To act in an ethical and fair manner-by adopting and following the Model Rules for incorporated associations under the Associations incorporation Act, 1984 for the administration of the group.
To communicate with residents and owners- by holding meetings on Monday night Bi-Monthly [to be advertised 2 weeks prior to meeting] and promoting the area in local publications.
To offer community activities-by preparing and implementing an annual social/cultural program.
To generate improved community facilities- by liaison with relevant authorities including Public Utility Organisations,Goulburn Mulwaree Council and State and Federal Members of Parliament.
To assist residents and owners- by preparing and forwarding supporting letters to relevant authorities, if deemed appropriate.
Tallong Focus Group Committee
Our Committee changes annually, meets Bi-Monthly and administers the Constitution of TCFG Inc.
Memberships are due now! Membership slips are available at The Midge Tallong and in the community newsletter.Memberships can be placed in TCFG Letterbox at The Midge or given to Sharon. Membership fee is $2.50 per member for 12 months.
